Ashley is the ultimate winner of 2021. Days after being crowned 2021 NWSL Champion and earning NWSL 2021 Golden Boot award for most goals scored and the NWSL 2021 Best XI honors, she traveled to Australia with the US Women’s National Team and scored the 3rd fastest goal (24 seconds) in USWNT history! Look for her to be a household name by the 2023 World Cup. Her cleats and the net seem to have a special relationship.
Ashley is also the poster child of self belief and perseverance. She’s faced rejection, disappointment, and learned to fight her way back, in the process becoming a valuable role model for her Washington Spirit teammates. At BYU, she was one of their most decorated and successful players in history, her All-WCC accolades too many to name, and in her time there she notched an impressive 45 goals.
